Sign-in and recovery email

Changing email requires confirmation from the new inbox. The current address receives a security notice with a cancellation link. You also need the current password and, when two-factor authentication is enabled, a code from the authenticator app.

Current account

The current address receives a notification about the change. This helps you spot a change you did not make.

New email address

The new inbox receives the confirmation message and future recovery emails. Use an address that belongs only to you and will remain available.

Required security confirmation

If the account has a password, the form asks for it. If two-factor authentication is enabled, the form also asks for a current authenticator code.

Email verification

Open the message sent to the new address and confirm it. Then check that every linked sign-in method also belongs to you.
