When you create an account, we store your email, authentication data, and the financial data you enter or import, such as accounts, transactions, and categories. We do not store bank login credentials or buy data from data brokers.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service, send product updates if you opt in, and improve the product. We do not sell your data. If you enable Tetri Assistant and send a message, we send that message, recent conversation, a compact summary of workspace financial data, and any lookup results requested by the assistant to OpenAI to generate an answer. In a shared workspace, the owner must allow assistant access to the workspace context for other members.

Analytics

We use self-hosted Umami Analytics to measure website visits and product use without analytics cookies. We do not send financial entries to Umami.

Payment processing

For Pro purchases on the web, Paddle is the merchant of record and processes checkout and payment information. For Pro purchases in the iOS app, Apple processes App Store payments. Tetri receives the subscription plan, status, purchase dates, and transaction identifiers needed to provide access and help with billing. Tetri does not store payment card numbers. Each payment provider handles the information it collects under its own privacy policy.

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your data under performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent for marketing emails only if you opted in.

Error tracking

We use Sentry for error monitoring. Stack traces may include anonymized request metadata.

Telegram bot

If you use the Telegram bot feature, your Telegram user ID and message content is processed to log transactions. This data is stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties.

Data storage

We store account and financial data in the databases used to run Tetri. Our application servers are hosted by Hostinger. Some uploaded assets and backups are stored with Cloudflare R2.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings, Account, Delete account.
