Currency pair direction
A currency pair states how many units of the second currency equal one unit of the first. Reversing the pair produces the reciprocal rate.
Provider market rate
An automatic rate is used when a transaction has no exact exchange rate. It can differ from the bank rate because of spread, fees, or the time of the exchange.
Manual rate and date
Use a manual rate when you know the exact bank, exchange, or settlement rate. It applies from the selected date. The source or supporting document can be recorded in a note.
Values affected by a rate change
After a manual rate is removed, Tetri uses another available rate. Converted values in balances, reports, forecasts, and tax estimates for that date may change. Original transaction amounts remain the same.
