Code, symbol, type, and precision
Code, symbol, type, and decimal places control how the currency appears in forms and how displayed amounts are rounded. These fields are especially important for custom currencies and crypto assets.
Displayed currency pair and current rate
The converted currency and update time are shown next to the current rate. An old transaction uses the rate for its own date, not this current value.
Rate source
The source states whether the rate came from a provider or a manual entry. A bank statement may show a different rate because of spread, fees, or exchange time.
Rate history
The chart shows sudden changes and gaps. The table lists the exact date, value, and source of every rate. Check the source before replacing a row manually.
