Income, expenses, and retained amount
Income, expenses, and the amount left over appear next to the percentage. A high rate on a small income can still mean less money saved than a low rate on a large income.
Transfers excluded from income and expenses
A transfer to a savings account changes where money is stored but does not create income or spending. Both sides must be linked as one transfer.
Why the rate changed
A bonus, refund, large purchase, or missing statement can produce an unusual rate for one month. Open those transactions from the report.
Personal savings target
A suitable savings rate depends on required spending, debt, and savings goals. The report treats it as a personal target, not a universal standard.
