Limit and elapsed time
The report shows spending percentage next to the share of the period that has passed. Using 70% of a limit early in the month is therefore marked differently from using it in the final days.
Flexible and recurring spending
When a budget includes recurring payments, they count inside the limit and are not reserved in the plan a second time. The setting appears in budget details.
Transactions behind the difference
Open the difference to see the transactions included in it. If an expense is in the wrong budget, correct its category instead of increasing the limit.
Rollover from earlier periods
The remaining amount may be increased by unused money from the previous period or reduced by earlier overspending. The rollover amount is listed separately.
