Savings goal with target and progress

A goal has a target amount and currency. You can also add a deadline, link a savings wallet, and set a planned monthly contribution. Actual and projected progress are shown separately.

Goal name

The name should state what the money is for, such as "Six-month emergency fund" or "Home deposit." The icon and color change appearance only.

Target amount and currency

Enter the target in the currency of the future purchase or reserve. Tetri can convert it into the base currency for comparison without changing the original target amount.

Target date

The deadline is used to calculate whether planned contributions can reach the target in time. Leave it empty for a reserve with no fixed date.

Linked wallet

If the money is kept in a dedicated account, link that wallet and its current balance becomes actual progress. Leave this empty when savings are spread across several accounts.

An optional monthly contribution

A monthly contribution is used only in the forecast to estimate when the target will be reached. It does not create a transaction or increase actual progress.

Goal review

Before saving, check the target amount and currency. The deadline, linked wallet, and monthly contribution are optional and can be added later.
