Rule change or data correction
If a transaction was included by mistake, correct its amount, date, or category. Change the budget itself when you need a different limit, period, or set of expenses.
How each setting changes the budget
A higher limit increases the available amount. Adding categories includes more transactions. A different period changes which dates are counted, while a different pace changes how spending is compared with elapsed time.
Available amount after saving
After saving, Tetri recalculates the remaining amount using days already elapsed and rollover from the previous period. The new value is shown in budget details.
Historical periods
Edit an existing budget for a small change to the current limit. If the budget purpose or covered spending changes, create a new budget so past periods keep their original meaning.
