Subscription and recurring payment management
Check upcoming charges, annual subscription costs and expected income dates in Tetri. Add rent once with a monthly recurrence, or insurance with an annual payment date.
A schedule of upcoming bills
If rent is due on the first and payday is the fifth, you need to keep money for housing from the previous month. Tetri lists future payment and income dates with their amounts, so you can check them before a large purchase.
A past-due payment needs checking: you may have paid it through your bank without recording it in Tetri. The date alone does not establish a debt.
Subscriptions from your bank statement
After importing a statement, review repeated service charges. Detection requires at least 3 similar payments in the last 6 months. You may find a subscription you have not added to your schedule.
Repeated purchases do not always mean a subscription. Check the original transactions before deciding whether to add a recurring payment.
Review repeated charges
Compare dates and amounts to distinguish a monthly service charge from several purchases at the same merchant. The payment history includes the original statement descriptions.
New subscriptions from the catalogue
Add a service from the catalogue before its first charge. Each listed price has a date when it was checked. Change the amount if you use a different plan or regional price.
Your annual subscription spending
A $15.49 monthly subscription costs $185.88 a year. Tetri shows both amounts, so you can compare the service with other recurring expenses before renewing.
After cancelling with the provider, end the subscription in Tetri. Previous payments remain in your history and no more payment dates are scheduled. Ending it in Tetri does not cancel your agreement with the service.
Scheduled expenses and income
Use recurring rules for rent, work income or transfers to savings. Each payment has its own amount and frequency. Add an end date for a temporary commitment.
Salary and savings transfers
Compare scheduled income with upcoming bills. Use a transfer between wallets for monthly savings: it changes wallet balances without adding an expense.
A combined payment amount
Plan €800 rent and €100 fixed utilities as a single payment. You can enter 800 + 100 as the amount to schedule a €900 total.
Different payment intervals
Choose a week, month, quarter, year or a custom number of days. For pay every 2 weeks, use a 14-day interval instead of a fixed day of the month.
Temporary commitments
For a 6-month rental, add an end date. No further payments are scheduled after it. Leave the end date open for a subscription that renews indefinitely.
Recording fixed payments
A known amount can create a transaction automatically on its due date. You still pay the bill separately; Tetri does not send bank payments. For a variable bill, record the actual charge.
Future payments in your forecast
Include annual insurance in the 2-year forecast even when the payment is months away. Review it alongside other commitments, budgets and goal contributions.
Set a reminder 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before a payment; subscriptions support 1, 3 or 7 days. The Free plan includes 3 recurring rules and 5 subscriptions.
Recurring payment questions
A statement is needed to detect repeated charges. Add a known subscription manually or from the catalogue without waiting for a payment history.
Tetri calculates the annual cost from the payment interval. For example, €10 a month is €120 a year. Compare that with the service’s annual plan.
