Savings goals for future purchases
Set a target for a holiday, a new laptop or an emergency fund. In Tetri, you can record contributions to each goal separately and calculate a monthly amount for a purchase with a deadline.
Several goals at once
A holiday needs $3,000 and a laptop costs $1,500. Give each purchase its own goal to compare what you have saved and what is still needed. You can decide which purchase to fund first.
For a goal with a deadline, check whether your current contributions are enough. For a reserve without a date, follow the saved amount without a required monthly contribution.
An estimated date for your purchase
With $1,110 saved for a $3,000 trip, you still need $1,890. The estimated completion date uses that gap and your average contribution over the last 3 months.
Compare the estimate with your purchase date. If the goal is behind, you can increase contributions, postpone the purchase or change the target. The estimate reflects your previous saving pace; it is not a guarantee.
Regular goal contributions
If you set aside $250 for a holiday each month, you can record that amount automatically. Tetri creates a scheduled transfer transaction from your selected wallet to the goal wallet.
Automatic contributions only change your Tetri records. You still make the bank transfer separately. You can pause the schedule and review previous contributions in your history.
A savings plan for a specific purchase
Set the price of the purchase and, if needed, the date when you need the full amount. The savings belong to your selected wallet and count toward net worth. Creating a goal does not change your bank balance.
Separate savings for each purpose
Keep holiday savings separate from money for home repairs. Each goal has its own name, amount and contribution history, so you can choose which purchase to fund when adding money.
Save in the purchase currency
For a laptop priced at $1,500, set the target in dollars and compare your savings directly with the price. Automatic contributions require a wallet in the same currency.
A photo of the planned purchase
Add a photo of the bike, laptop or destination beside the saved amount. A photo is optional; you can use a name and icon instead.
With or without a deadline
For an August holiday, set the date to calculate a required monthly contribution. For an emergency fund, a target amount is enough. You do not need a completion date.
Contributions alongside other expenses
Add a $250 monthly contribution to your financial plan alongside rent and everyday spending. Check the expected balance after contributions through the month you reach the target.
Changing plans and using your savings
You can add a one-off contribution or withdraw part of the savings. The forecast reflects the changed amount. For example, an extra $300 contribution reduces a $1,890 gap to $1,590.
Completing or cancelling a goal keeps previous contributions in your history. Savings goals are available on Pro.
