First wallet
A wallet can represent a bank account, card, cash, or debt. Its opening balance and currency are used by transactions, budgets, forecasts, and reports.
First transaction
Record an income, expense, or transfer to update the wallet balance and add an entry to transaction history. The same transaction will also appear in matching budgets and reports. You can enter one now or import a bank statement later.
First budget
A budget sets a spending limit for selected categories and a period. Tetri compares the limit with recorded transactions and shows how quickly it is being used.
Transaction categories
Categories determine where transactions appear in budgets, reports, and automation rules. Start with broad categories and split them only when you need a separate limit, report, or rule.
Additional wallets
You can add more bank accounts, cards, cash balances, or loans later. Their original amounts and currencies do not change when Tetri calculates a combined balance or report.
Recurring income and payments
Add a schedule for income or bills that repeat. Scheduled items appear in upcoming payments and the balance forecast before the bank records an actual transaction.
Savings goal and contributions
A savings goal has a target amount and can also have a deadline, a linked wallet, and a monthly contribution plan. Actual and projected progress are shown separately.
