Reason for the change
A merchant rename calls for a text-condition change. A new account calls for a wallet-filter change. An incorrect category calls for a change to the category the rule sets.
Matches before and after the edit
Preview the edited rule for a period with typical transactions. Check that intended transactions match and similar but unrelated ones do not.
Future runs
Saving changes the rule for future runs. Transactions changed by earlier runs are not rewritten automatically; run the rule again if they also need the new actions.
Rule disabling
Disabling stops future runs but keeps the rule and its history. Delete a rule only when you no longer need its configuration or run history.
